pinch

ai agents are expensive and invisible. you run a cron, spawn a subagent, iterate on a readme — and somewhere in there you spend $103 before noon. pinch makes that visible.

what it does

• tracks spend per session, model, and time period — today, this week, this month
• serves a local dashboard at http://localhost:3334 with a kpi strip, trend chart, and latest runs
• fires budget alerts in chat at 50%, 80%, and 100% of your configured limit
• exposes three agent tools (pinch_check, pinch_breakdown, pinch_budget) so the agent can reason about its own cost

install

openclaw plugins install @safetnsr/pinch

no config needed. pinch starts tracking immediately. everything stays local — ~/.openclaw/data/pinch/.
